I ‘am currently studying
International spa management at the University of Derby Buxton, but have been
working as a spa therapist for the past four years. I have a passion for
delivering excellent treatments at a high standard and am extremely capable of
working in a fast paced, pressurised environment and adapt well to new
surroundings. I find my job highly rewarding due to the healing experiences my
clients experience. My aim is to keep up to date with new and upcoming spa
trends in order to develop and gain as much knowledge as possible about an
industry that is ever changing, along with striving to be the best therapist I
can while delivering professional treatments to my clients.

Here I worked as a
full time spa therapist. This was my first job in the spa sector after
finishing my level 3 massage qualification. Jobs included dealing with guests,
column management, time management, spa reception using premium spa, spa host.

Here I worked as a full time
therapist and a weekend supervisor. Where I developed some managerial skills
such as the overall running of the spa, stock checks, dealing with customers,
treatment management.

While studying my FdSc
International Spa management degree, I am working my placement. Job duties
included pool testing, reception work using premium spa column management, dealing with guests, preforming
treatments, retail, maintenance of the wet area, reaching daily targets,
motivating my team, grooming standards, organising treatment columns, and
introducing and coming up with new ideas and treatments.
